Positive Delta
Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 20, 2025

1. Introduction

Positive Delta ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application ("the App").

Positive Delta is a time-management utility that operates primarily as a local-storage application. It functions by allowing users to input task data to generate a "time balance" for productivity tracking. Unlike cloud-based services, Positive Delta stores user activity logs, task history, and settings directly on the user's device, ensuring that personal productivity data remains private and offline.

2. Data Collection and Usage

Positive Delta is primarily a local-storage application. We do not transmit your personal names, emails, or specific task details to our own servers.

Types of Data Collected

  • Local Data: All time-tracking data, task logs, and app settings are stored locally on your device.
  • Ad Data (Google AdMob): The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data (such as your Advertising ID, device type, location, and usage data) to serve personalized ads. By using the App, you consent to this data collection by Google.
  • Purchase Data (Apple): The App offers In-App Purchases (e.g., "Remove Ads"). We do not collect or store your financial information.

3. Payments and In-App Purchases

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service (e.g., "Remove Ads" functionality). In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g., Apple StoreKit).

  • We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Apple, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Apple Store In-App Payments: All financial transactions are processed by Apple. You can view their Privacy Policy here: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/

4. Permissions

The App may request the following permissions on your device:

  • App Tracking Transparency (iOS): To ask permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for the purpose of delivering personalized advertising. You may decline this permission. If declined, ads will still be shown but will be less relevant to your interests.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. Since the Application functions locally on the device and does not require a user account or login, we do not store birth dates, names, or contact information. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

Note to Parents: While the App is safe for younger users, it displays advertisements provided by third-party networks (Google AdMob). These networks may use limited data (such as device type) to serve appropriate ads.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
